Anti-Flash Hood and Glove WWII Set (1942)
US$150.00
This set is a very important piece of uniform for military large caliber gun operators. The purpose of this set is to provide protection to the head, neck, face and hands from short-duration flame exposure and heat.
This particular example comes from the Royal British Navy and dates back to 1942, during the Second World war. The hood is made out of a very interesting french terry, while the gloves are made out of canvas.
