Based in London, A’N’D gets its name from the initials of the designers behind it, Azumi and David. Their design language is very playful, which is something we love.

This particular bag comes from the Spring Summer 2016 collection titled “Azumi and David School of Art.” This collection poses questions about consumerism in today’s society and the schools of thought that dominate this culture. See the show notes in the last slide for more information.

To me, this satyrical bag in stands out from the rest of the collection, as it describes a justification all too common in fashion circles.

Featuring a printed painting with frame on canvas, a leather composition (lining and back), and a zipper with a leather pull.
