Comme des Garçons Homme Plus FW98 collection "Inside Outside" was not only appropriately named, but also a great representation of the brand. In this collection, Rei Kawakubo continued her experimentation with menswear. In particular, she focused on seams. This focus resulted in many garments with seams on the outside rather than the inside, creating a completely different garment with a very slight change. 

This particular jacket features one of the most noticeable play with seams, with a very thick outside seam highlighting the construction on the back and the arms of the garment. There are some other "CDG" elements at play in this jacket as well, like the slanted chest pocket, the rounded bottom hem, and the substitution of buttons with a zipper.
