German Grey Leather Flight Jacket (1970s)

A very interesting jacket made out of beautiful goat leather. Issued to German Air Force (Luftwaffe) pilots, this unique jackets features a very sturdy leather construction with bright orange lining. Additionally, this flight jacket features thick ribbing, numerous velcro patches, chest and arm pockets, as well as arm ventilation.

It is also worth noting that Martin Margiela’s artisanal line featured a three different iterations of these jackets cut and sewn together for FW2004. See last picture for reference.

Condition: General military condition, some small scratches on outer and dirt visible on lining.

Size: 182/96. Which means it is meant for someone 182 cm tall (6 foot) and 96 cm ( approx 37 inches)
