Jil Sander Cargo Pocket Belt (AW03)
Another version of the sought after Jil Sander 2003 cargo design. Designed under Milan Vukmirovic, these bags are the result of an attempt to make more commercial sportswear-inspired designs. Along with this belt, the German brand released purses, tote bags, cross body bags, and vests plagued with similar pockets. These designs were featured in both SS03 and AW03. Because the belt is not visible in either of the collections its difficult to date it accurately, but I personally believe it’s from AW03 given the use of similar leathers in that collection.
This particular belt features six pockets closed with either a velcro or a zip. These pockets feature different dimensions to fit a variety of goods. Additionally, the largest pocket features a molle system (see scissors) for additional storage. Made in a supple brown leather.
Size: One size, fits about 30-33
Measurements: roughly 31 inches to 36 inches
Condition: 8/10 Leather is in amazing condition, but some of the stitching thread is coming out from some seams. A minor detail that could be easily mended. See pictures.
