Kansai Yamamoto Patchwork Black Wool Jacket (70’s-80’s)
Very unique jacket by the late legend Kansai Yamamoto. Featuring a cropped and oversized fit, the jacket is made out of a textured wool, which gives it a “tattered” look. Despite looking like its made out of rags, the garment is very carefully constructed. The front features a very unusual closure, bringing a new meaning to double-breasted. The buttons are placed on opposites sides of the jacket, which results in a “zigzag” effect as one “flap” goes over and the other one goes under. This “patchwork” like closure is also complemented by the unfinished hems and the textured knit. The fit is cropped and wide, with long arms, which ensures it’s beautiful to layer.
