Maison Martin Margiela Asymetrical Trompe L'oeil Blazer (SS99)
A beautiful blazer from Martin Margiela’s Spring Summer 1999 collection. This collection was a both a retrospective exercise for the 10 previous collections and a further exploration of these topics. One of this topics, one which had been a prevalent part of the Maison since the beginning, is trompe l’oeil, as can be seen in this blazer.
This particular blazer features a myriad of non-functional details, such as the lapels, buttonholes, and pockets. It is composed of a double layered, fully lined, front and a single layered back. Alongside these trompe l’oeil, this jacket features a functional hidden inner pocket.

Condition: 7/10 Gret condition, slight pilling in some areas (not noticeable while wearing) and slight damage at clasps that can be easily fixed by a tailor (see pictures for details)
Colour: Black
Material: polyester, feels like a lightweight Cordura
