Rick Owens Aircut Skirt Sample (FW05)
The "aircut" models have become a staple in rick owens catalog. The cleverly placed zipper, the variety of cuts, and the simplicity of the design allowed this model to become one of Rick Owens most sought after piece, with some iterations selling for over 2k USD.
What makes this particular skirt interesting is that it is one of the first aircut iterations evere made by Rick. And given how this particular item continues to be re-issued now, 20 years later, we can say he got it right the first time.
This particular iteration features a mud-dyed denim material, a triple front pocket construction, an inner waistband as well as darts at the back. Also featuring the iconic DRKSHDW strap at the waist, the classic Rick patch, and a unique tag (only used in the first few DRKSHDW collections), complete with handwritten item code due to being a sample.
