Soviet Army Black Tanker Uniform Jacket (1983)
This is the original version of the "Tank Suit" (Tankoviy kostyum) Which was used by the Red Army during the cold war. This particular issue was in use by Soviet tankmen from 1972 until 1983, when it was "replaced" by literally the same version, featuring nothing new but a different color.
This particular jacket features a removable "telogreika" liner with a faux fur collar. This removable liner allows the jacket to adapt to the needs of the wearer and the demands of the weather.
Along with this removable liner, this jacket features a strap to hold the collar up (see pictures), a hidden pistol pocket, two front pockets, as well as belt loops. Both the liner and the jacket are marked (Factory #3 Ivanovo, year 1983).
Overall a very warm and beautiful jacket with an incredible fade.
