Soviet Canvas Trench Coat Afghan War (1979-1989)
A very interesting canvas coat from the Afghanistan war era in the Soviet Union. This trench coat is made out of a very thick and rough canvas. The construction of this coat is equally rough, with unfinished edges and uneven sewing lines (visible from the inside). This coat reflects the wartime struggles of clothing manufacturers, who had to make what was demanded of them with what they had. The uneven sewing lines are likely a result of inadequate machinery. Nonetheless this is a very unique coat with an interesting story and fade pattern.
Size: unmarked. fits like XL
Colour: Light beige with a hint of green
Condition: military vintage condition. different stains but no rips
