Swiss Army Leather Bread Bag (1920-1940)

US$100.00

A very interesting and old bag. Featuring a functional and unique closure, meant to grant extra protection to the contents of the bag. The canvas part is also fully removable via a series of hooks. Additionally, this bag features a small inner compartment for organization.

I am not sure about the year of this bag, since WW2 era bags feature a canvas closure instead of leather. I assume it was produced before WW2, but it could simply be a particular manufacturer that used leather. I am also unsure why there is a patch on the back, since there are no holes inside to be patched and it seems to be there for added protection (why only partially protect the bag though?). Please let me know if you have any information on this

Colour: Black leather green canvas

Condition: Artifact. slight defects and some leather cracking (pictured)
