US army CWU-8P Face Mask Rabbit Parka (1974)
Produced from the mid 1960s to the mid 1970s, this rare parka was issued to mechanic ground units. The main feature of this parka is the interesting hood, which has been referenced by many designers (General Research, Armani, Stone Island, etc). It features two large flaps to cover the face, and two small flaps to protect the neck from the wind. The hood has an interesting shape, meant to hug the face for extra protection, and a visor for forehead protection. Additionally, it features four pockets, a double closure, and a unique print on the back.
