Yugoslavian People's Army Steel Mountaineering Boots (1960s-1970s)
Another beautiful pair of boots from a country that no longer exists. Featuring a very interesting sole, steel reinforcements, D-rings, and ankle length. The D-rings function as a place to attach gaiters (which would offer more ankle support) and the steel reinforcements at the front are likely used to attach the boots to skis. New condition.
